Instructor and Assistants
Melchor Cortés teaches all of the classes and is assisted by Puerto
Vallarta natives whom he has trained to use the Warren Hardy materials.
His first assistant, Martha Flores Salcedo de Cortés, is his wife and the
mother of their two children Yesenia, 14 and Alejandro, 12. Her ability
to perform as wife, mother and teacher is a tribute to her strength,
determination and dedication. With larger classes Carmen Celina
Contreras, also a wife, businesswoman and mother of three grown sons,
Alejandro, Octavio and Cesar, assists Martha and the students. Both
she and Martha have been with the school since its inception and their
interaction with the students during games and exercises makes learning
Spanish fun! Their cheerful presence and knowledge of the materials
make them an invaluable asset to the school.
